These Gifs and animations are a collaboration with animator Rob Frese of BBQ Dad Productions. Rob and I blend traditional animation and illustration with digital animation techniques.
Flight
Animation combines my love of art and movement. "Flight" is a charcoal and ink animation based on one of the first dances I remember seeing as a child. The dance is by Modern Dance Choreographer Valerie Pullman. Valerie is also my mother! I created this animation from rotoscoped footage of us dancing together.
